AS OF JULY 31, 2020, THE CARLSBAD CONNECTOR HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED. NO NEW APPOINTMENTS ARE BEING ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME.

The Carlsbad Connector pilot program, managed by a multi-agency partnership between North County Transit District, San Diego Association of Governments and City of Carlsbad has ended.

With the conclusion of the multi-agency pilot program, and as a result of temporary service reductions implemented on COASTER trains due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the service will be temporarily suspended beginning Friday, July 31, 2020 until further notice. It is anticipated that NCTD will assume operations and funding for a new pilot micro-transit program within NCTD's existing FLEX brand once the service is re-launched.

What is the Carlsbad Connector?
The Carlsbad Connector is a new app-based shuttle service which runs to and from the Carlsbad Poinsettia COASTER Station.
The City of Carlsbad, North County Transit District (NCTD), and the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) have partnered to combine the convenience of ridesharing with the sustainability of transit services to offer you efficiency and flexibility at a very affordable price.
When a fixed bus route doesn’t fit into your schedule, you can simply book your shuttle service directly from your phone for immediate or future rides.
